The Religious Education Curriculum is also used within the Archdiocese of Sydney, the Diocese of Armidale and the Diocese of Wollongong.

The R.E. Curriculum is supported by the resource student text To Know, Worship and Love which was first produced in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. The curriculum provides an educational framework for classroom religion teaching which contains a quality intellectual component that is consistent with the approaches to the content and methodology as found in any other Key Learning Area.  It is a curriculum model which meets the challenge and the vision of an education in faith perspective. Central to the K-12 Guidelines is the integration and celebration of the sharing of personal stories with the story of Jesus and the Church.  The theology in the R.E. Curriculum and resource student text is integrated with the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
